Summer Solstice

The longest day of the year and the official start of summer ~ certainly one of my favorite days of the year! I decided to go to a yoga class newer to me on this beautiful Thursday called Jivamukti. It is a practice where the teacher begins and ends the class by leading a musical meditation and Sanskrit chanting, with traditional asanas practice between. This month's theme was the compass to focus the direction on the Divinity or Happiness to better control our conscious thinking during our personal spiritual journey.
