Just breathe...

When days and nights seem long, at a moment when you feel your blood boiling, simply stop and breathe. It's much easier said then done, like many things. Creating small changes or adding new techniques, with repetition and practice, will develop a habit that becomes a part of you.

Listening to our breath like the waves of the ocean is incredibly calming, soothing, and relaxing. Just the pause of taking your attention inwards, temporarily blocking everything else in your external environment, is powerful and rejuvenating. Our breath is our life-force, a tool for healing our mental and physical wounds, expanding into the infinite space, as well as settling into ourselves. So notice your breath often; it's sound, it's depth, it's rhythm, it's powers. Our breath is always with us!
