

There is no doubt that after vaginal birth, that a new mama needs some help to heal her bottom. I loved this spray by Earth Mama/Baby Angel, especially because a tender bottom should be minimally touched. The soothing ingredients including witch hazel, cucumber, peppermint and lavender, all made me feel more comfortable with every spray. Another homeopathic remedy to reduce pain and bruising that I used were arnica tablets; I consumed three every few hours for a few days after childbirth. Lastly, I highly recommend taking a sitz bath or two a day during the first week postpartum, infused with essential oils or herbs like lavender, chamomile, roses, rosemary, lemon balm and comfrey for faster healing.
