The time is coming for me to welcome my baby and spend the first few weeks learning all about motherhood and our new family member. I will be taking a few weeks off from teaching my classes and I will keep posting about any changes.
Kristen will be teaching the Prenatal yoga class on Thursdays at Yoga Vermont starting on November 20th through January 15th. She is a delight and also pregnant due in the spring! Here's a little more about her:
Kristen has been teaching Vinyasa yoga since 2007, and received her teacher certification through Yoga Vermont’s 200 Hour Yoga Instructor Course. Before enrolling in the Yoga Vermont teacher training program, Kristen completed 100 hours of teacher training in Power Vinyasa Yoga with Baron Baptiste. Her classes draw from the different styles of yoga that she practices, including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Kripalu. Now three months pregnant, Kristen has begun to modify her practice and focus on postures to prepare for labor and childbirth. She enjoys taking the time to honor her baby and her body and to connect with other women through pre-natal classes.
