Hailing from outside the beautiful European city Prague, my history, experiences, education, and worldly travels grow my heart fonder of our global culture, connection and oneness. For over a decade now, practicing yoga has been healing my physical and mental wounds, balancing emotions, cultivating individuality and letting my spirit soar. Most recently, I felt the power of my practice during my natural birth at home. Giving birth to Mira in the intimacy of our bedroom, was a blissful, transforming and empowering.
My teaching is inspired by various styles of yoga, teachers, encounters, observations, and organically continues to evolve. I have instructed over a hundred classes since completing my teacher training with Kathy McNames at Yoga Vermont in 2007, including various styles; Vinyasa, Hatha, Pre/Post Natal, PreNatal & Partner, as well as Baby & Mama/PostNatal. I’ve also participated in several workshops with practitioners Manju Jois, Beryl Bender Birch, Alan Finger & Jill Satterfield.
From the University of Vermont, I received a B.Sc. in Nutrition & Food Sciences with a concentration in Dietetics. Past work experience encompasses diverse service fields, holding former positions at Fresh Market Specialty Foods, UVM & Smart Nutrition Company. With so many changes, my hobbies have remained the same; creating healthy recipes and routines, capturing the world in photographs, reading, walking and simply being.
As a teacher, I share my mission to nourish the mind, body and spirit through breath, unification, awareness, strengthening, balance and love. As a nutritionist, I consult on the finer points of healthy lifestyle and wellness through practical nutrition, fitness and mindfulness. As a mother, my life force flourishes with my little one daily.
